INFUSION THERAPY

The Houk Rheumatology Infusion Center offers a comfortable and relaxing environment for patient care. Patients will look forward to the private 10 chair center, with large picture windows, comfortable theater lounge chairs, and secure wireless access. In addition, the center has one private room for patients that prefer to receive treatment in a private space. The center is managed by an onsite registered nurse certified in ACLS, and who has completed extra training and examinations specifically for infusion therapy. Patients will be seen once at the time of their initial infusion by Dr. Houk to address questions regarding potential drug toxicity and procedures. He will also be onsite to handle any infusion reactions. All patients remain your patient and you are sent infusion reports. 

ALLERGY CARE

EOSINOPHILIC ASTHMA patients are benefitting from biologic therapies. We have been giving these agents since they first came on the market. Our infusion center is now able to give:

DERMATOLOGICAL CARE 

Moderate to severe PEMPHIGUS VULGARIS is a chronic source of pain, burning, and disability for your patients. The FDA has recently approved intravenous RITUXAN THERAPY to treat this miserable condition. Two initial loading doses are followed by six month infusions to maintain control.
